Rep. Denham serves on three committees in the House of Representatives, perfectly situating him to address key concerns among Central Valley residents. Through participation in Committee hearings and votes, Rep. Denham will continue to focus on federal agriculture policy and reform, infrastructure development and management of water resources.

The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure has jurisdiction over all Department of Transportation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers programs, among others. Learn more at transportation.house.gov.

The House Committee on Agriculture has jurisdiction over: Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs; general farm commodities and risk management; conservation, energy and forestry; horticulture, research, biotechnology and foreign agriculture; livestock, rural development and farm credit, among other programs. The House Committee on Natural Resources considers legislation about American energy production, mineral lands and mining, fisheries and wildlife, public lands, oceans, Native Americans, irrigation and reclamation. Learn more at naturalresources.house.gov.
