Congressman Denham to Deliver Donated Books to Salida, Ceres School Libraries Wednesday

Jan 8, 2013

WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) will deliver an assortment of books to both Salida Middle School and Ceres School District on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, to be donated to their school libraries. Over the last year, Rep. Denham’s office has been collecting surplus books from the Library of Congress to help stock and replace books in public schools across the Central Valley.

“Donating these books is a simple way to help our public schools stock their shelves and replace older books during tough economic times,” said Denham. “If your school would like to request books from the surplus collection at the Library of Congress, please contact my Modesto Office at 209-579-5458 to find out more information.”
