Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK) has received notification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that it has been awarded a $2.6 million grant to rebuild and resurface the Airport’s burgeoning general aviation ramp, which accommodates the Airport’s largest employers, including Atlantic Aviation. President Obama signed provisions from the Protecting our Infrastructure of Pipelines and Enhancing Safety (PIPES) Act, authored by Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee Chairman Jeff Denham (R-Turlock), into law earlier today.
