U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) today announced his 2018 Central Valley Jobs Fair to be held at Modesto Junior College on August 2, 2018.
“I’m looking forward to hosting our 8th annual Jobs Fair at Modesto Junior College,” said Rep. Denham. “I’ve been working hard in Congress to bring more jobs to the Central Valley, and this jobs fair will connect our job seekers with job creators across our community.”
Over the years, Rep. Denham’s Central Valley Jobs Fair has connected thousands of CA10 residents to jobs in our community. This year, Rep. Denham’s Central Valley Jobs Fair will host over 60 potential employers and provide opportunities for job seekers from across the district to apply for jobs on the spot. The jobs fair will be open to all residents of California’s 10th District from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Doors will open for veterans, armed services members and their spouses at 10:00 a.m. There is no charge to attend.

Denham has long been a leader in bringing jobs to the Valley,” said David White, CEO of Opportunity Stanislaus, a Modesto-based organization dedicated to improving the economic vitality of Stanislaus County. “We want to maintain a vibrant, healthy economy and events like these help connect our residents to opportunities for career growth here in the Valley and keep our local businesses strong.”
Participating employers in this year’s jobs fair include Amazon, Starbucks, U.S. Army, Turlock Police Department, Federal Bureau of Prisons, the U.S. Social Security Administration, Taylor Farms, Rank Security, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory and more.
